Who we are
OptiFluides is an engineering consultancy specialized in Research and Development related to Fluid Dynamics.
Our services range from numerical modelling to experimental measurements. We study fluid flows, thermal transfers, chimical cinetics and every other phenomena which come into play in the design or the functionning of industrial equipments and processes. In addition, we model air flows, hydraulic systems and air pollutants dispersion for environmental protection and healthcare sectors.

High technology cluster
50 innovating high-tech companies are located in the scientific domain of la Doua. They employ 700 people and most of them have strong relationships with the research laboratories onsite.
The high-technology cluster of la Doua is located in the neighbourhood of Villeurbanne, which is particularly dynamic in an economic point of view. 1122 companies are established there. 34% of them, meaning 381 companies, have a strong technological potential, invest and make good use of this innovation. The majority of them are service companies for businesses (design offices, engineering firms…), software development firms, consultants, research and development companies. Half of them are active in international exports.

Located on the edge of the Lyon-Villeurbanne agglomeration, on a green belt (Parc de la Tête d’or, Coulée verte de la Feyssine), with an international vocation (Cité internationale, Interpol’s headquarters), the scientific domain of la Doua benefits from a dense transport infrastructure (highways to Paris, Genève, Grenoble, Chambéry, Marseille; high speed train stations of la Part-Dieu and St Exupéry; highway connections to St Exupéry airport and Bron business airport; tramway) and high-speed network (ROCAD).
